MCU's Mysterio's mystery revealed
Mysterio's character has found itself in the limelight ever since the declaration of the release of MCU's "Spider-man: Far from Home" not only because Jake Gyllenhaal (the dude in the picture above, although you may already know that but.... just decided to give a shout out) has decided to do the role but because Mysterio as the name suggests, was quite mystery among MCU fans till now.
As Mysterio has not made a movie appearance before.. We will have to look for more information in the comics.
Mysterio, as is obvious is an alias and not a real name, it has been adopted by many super villains especially those against our friendly, neighborhood Spider-man. The most known Mysterio ( LOL that is weird) is Quentin Beck, who will be featured, in Spider-man: Far from Home.
According to MCU's trailer-
As seen in MCU's trailer, Nick Fury introduces Spider-Man to Mysterio (AKA Quentin Beck) who, at that point of time, is considered a hero who fights Elementals. An interesting fact about Mysterio, other than the fact that he is a villain, is that he belongs to a different Earth ( Which might be untrue, I,ll get to that soon enough). Marvel's idea of a multiverse is actually quite famous among those who read the comics, in MCU, however it was introduced by the suspiciously young-looking Ancient One. According to this theory, there are several Earths but each of them are separated by a dimensional barrier.
According to the Comics-
Mysterio ( Quentin Beck ) in the comics, is a hollywood stuntsman and special-effects director who couldn't become an actor, got frustrated and decided to rob a bank ( yeahhhhh that is soooo simple). He has teamed up with many other super villains and the Sinister Six and has tried to destroy our friendly web-slinger. He doesn't have any super powers but uses illusions created by special effects to fight Spider-Man.
How can it be untrue.......
After reading both, the comic and the trailer perspective, you must have probably figured out why the fact that Mysterio in the trailer belongs to another Earth might be untrue. The comics say that Quentin uses illusions and other special effects to trick Spider-Man while in the trailer, he is represented as a hero who teams up with Spider-Man to fight giants made out of fire, water or earth called Elementals.
Now the question still remains, is Quentin using illusions or super powers? Could it be that the Elementals and Nick Fury are an elaborate ruse? Will Spider-Man ever have his date with Mary Jane?
Who knows what might happen, but what we do know is that Spider-Man: Far from Home will be out soon and that you an I both have to watch it.
A Masterpiece....Magnificent....Astounding.... Overpowering.... Classic....research work.....
